| Objectives |
| |
The purpose of the Electroacoustic
Composition course of study at the National University
of Quilmes is to train musicians in and by means
of the new technologies.
Our challenge is to make
students think in new ways and develop critical
judgment in order
to compose and listen to music in a creative
manner. |

| Program |

In order to receive the Degree
in Electroacoustic Composition, students must
earn 300 academic credits and pass one level
of English language.
This course’s curricular
structure is divided as follows: |

Compulsory subjects: They
are 28 four-hour-weekly subjects of a four-month
term duration (224 credits). |

Optional subjects: Students
choose their subjects according to academic
availability and their personal interests
(76 credits). |

| Students can obtain an intermediate
level Diploma in Music and Technology, by passing
the first and second years subjects (154 credits). |

implementation, evaluation and operation
of technological systems for sound reinforcement,
room acoustics, and surrounding sound |

Be a part of or lead multidisciplinary
teams in the media, whether as experts, advisers,
critics or project producers |

Do research on and teach
Art, Music, Sound, Acoustics, Electroacoustics,
IT, Music Composition and Music Analysis,
among others. |
