Objectives
 
In order to receive the Degree in Social Communication, students must obtain a minimum of 300 credits, by means of subjects passed in accordance with this chart:
:: Diploma in Social Sciences subjects (150 credits)
:: One level of English
:: Higher level, compulsory basic subjects (60 credits)
:: Optional basic subjects (50 credits)
:: Specialization level subjects (40 credits)

Majors
 
:: Communication and Culture. This course of study’s objective is to develop spaces for critical thinking and research about the contemporary communication and cultural processes.
:: Journalistic and Audiovisual Production. The objective of this major is to bring together contributions from Social and Cultural Theory, the Humanities and Communication Studies with production practices and the study of communication techniques.
   
   
 
Graduate Students Education
 
The National University of Quilmes, by means of both its majors, trains professionals who are able to:
:: Produce information in various media formats and languages
:: Produce graphic and audiovisual material for different purposes (informative, educational, institutional, among others)
:: Work in research and communication planning sectors, both at universities and at other public and private spaces
