Objectives
 
The Degree in Social Sciences course of study at the National University of Quilmes (UNQ) trains graduate students who are able to analyze and explain the multiple dimensions of our social reality.

Its objective is to develop a high quality curricular proposal, where:
:: The approach to our social reality is developed from a multidisciplinary perspective, promoting at the same time spaces for academic articulation
:: Current social problems and alternative policies are analyzed from a critical perspective
:: The theoretical discussion is supported by practical tools learning, both for professional research and for public policies management
 
Program
 
In order to receive the Degree in Social Sciences, students must earn a minimum of 300 credits, by means of subjects passed in accordance with this chart:
:: Diploma in Social Sciences subjects (150 credits)
:: Compulsory higher level subjects (70 credits)
:: Optional higher level subjects (40 credits)
:: Specialization higher level subjects (40 credits)

Graduate Students Education
 
This course of study at the UNQ trains graduate students who are able to:
:: Design, coordinate, plan and develop research in the Social Sciences field
:: Analyze, diagnose, design, formulate, carry out and evaluate projects on events happening as part of the community’s social and cultural processes
:: Participate in consulting, counseling, diagnostic, planning, management and evaluation activities in open, community and private sectors
:: Develop activities for technical offices and areas of the federal, state and local public administration
