The University’s academic organization is based on a departmental structure, so as to provide systematic guidance for the teaching and research activities, grouping related fields of study together and promoting good communication among teachers and students from different courses of study.
The Departments are academic units responsible for the design, planning and implementation of teaching, research, development, transference and extension activities.
The highest authority of each Department is its Departmental Council. Each Department is presided by a Chair, who chairs the respective Departmental Council meetings.

The Schools are smaller scale academic units to the Departments, with disciplinary specificity and responsible for the design, planning and execution of teaching, research, development, transfer and extension.
